The ideal water pH for Axolotls is 7.4-7.6. Seachem Axolotl Buffer creates these required conditions by adjusting the aquarium pH to 7.4–7.6 from either a low or high pH. It softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium. Safe and effective for use with all Axolotls. Use in conjunction with Seachem Axolotl Conditioner for removal of chlorine and chloramine and detoxifying ammonia. Use Seachem Fresh Trace to restore the proper level of trace elements.
Directions:
Use 1 capful (5ml) for every 10L dosing twice a week or as necessary to maintain a pH between 7.4 and 7.6. Seachem Axolotl Buffer may be added directly to the aquarium at any time. Very hard water may require a double or triple dose. Contains phosphate buffers.
