La Sportiva engineers their Pocketshell Jacket as an ultralight Mountain Running rain jacket for race-level protection. Fully seam-taped 2.5L fabric delivers a 20,000 mm water column rating with 15,000 g/m²/24H breathability. At 181 g, the jacket gives runners waterproof and wind-protective coverage at a very low weight. Their articulated hood uses a drawstring and integrated visor for protective coverage in wet weather. Underarm ventilation combines a mesh insert with an exterior shield to help manage heat during hard efforts. A one-way full-length zipper includes a storm flap and zipper garage for additional weather protection. Recycled, bluesign-certified fabric and a PFC-free durable water-repellent coating support a more responsible technical shell story.
