The care, support, flexibility and help that was provided by each person on the Woodwinds team in helping to coordinate such a special event for the people we support at SARAH Tuxis was excellent and, is what is going to keep us coming back for what we can only hope is going to be an annual soiree.

Our party enjoyed themselves, the food was marvelous, and people who were able to attend Woodwinds for the SARAH Tuxis Winter Formal have not been able to stop talking about it. Our experience was a great one, and we look forward to booking a date for a 2020 Semi-Formal event as soon as possible.

Your staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and that everyone is enjoying themselves. I was getting my newborns bottle out of her diaper bag and when one of your staff saw, she came over to ask me if I needed hot water to heat her bottle. I was blown away by her care and concern for our daughter. You truly make our events memorable. We look forward to working with you next year when our oldest daughter makes her First Holy Communion! We sent out a survey to all the attendees and only received positive feedback about the venue. It was absolutely beautiful and well organized! We appreciate all of your hard work in making our event possible! On behalf of the ACES Education Foundation Board members, the Gala committee and our friends, we would like to thank you for a lovely night on March 22, particularly with threats of postponing due to weather. You were especially considerate and generous in offering us the option of another evening in April.

Parking issues were not raised as we thought they might be with snow covered parking areas, and the room set up, though, a concern due to ever increasing registrations, was fine. Of course as you can imagine having an increase in the number of guests was a wonderful problem for us to manage.

And finally the food, the presentation, and your very accommodating staff, contributed to a lovely evening. We should have used the second bar, however, everyone, including your bar tenders, was patient.

Ken, Vanessa, and the staff setting up the room were so helpful and pleasant, it is obvious they have extensive experience with such events.

2017 Event

Everything turned out great!! The staff (Scott and Randy) were awesome and so accommodating with last minute changes. 2017 Event

Thank you and your team for ensuring that our ACES Education Foundation Gala was a success. You and your team did an outstanding job in making sure that everything ran smoothly – even accommodating a last-minute request for a gluten-free meal. It was a pleasure holding our event at Woodwind’s. We hope we can work together again.


It was a terrific event. I enjoyed working with Scott, and the food was delicious! I especially appreciated how accommodating all of your staff were when our guest of honor experienced a death in her family and we almost needed to postpone. Everyone I spoke to was so thoughtful and generous. I would gladly recommend Woodwinds to others.

On Thursday, April 7th, 2016, St. Martin de Porres Academy celebrated its 11th Annual Spring Fling! 390 people gathered to celebrate the successes of the Academy’s students, to honor Town Fair Tire, and affirm the power of education and opportunity to break the cycle of generational poverty. A special thanks to WoodWinds and their staff for their tremendous hospitality, which was instrumental to making the evening an incredible one of food, fellowship, and philanthropy!
